Sharing the good news of Jesus

This bracelet is more than just a colorful accessory. It’s a reminder of His love that you can share with those who need to hear it.
Each color and Bible verse tells a part of the story of Jesus’ sacrifice for each and every one of us. If you’re ready to share the gospel with the people God places in your path, then watch through the videos on this page, and GO into the world with the good news.
SIN
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
– Romans 3:23
Give someone the wristband and start with the yellow section. Explain that the text represents a Bible verse: Romans 3:23. Ask if they’ve heard it before, and if not, read it aloud, emphasizing that it reminds us that no one is perfect, introducing the reality of our shared human condition.
DEATH
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 6:23
Next, point to the black section of the wristband and read the verse aloud. Explain that sin leads to death, which means separation from God. Emphasize that understanding this bad news is crucial for understanding the good news.
LOVE
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
–Romans 5:8
Next, move to the red tab, and read the verse. Explain that it shows how God demonstrates His love for us by sending Jesus to die on the cross. His sacrifice removes the sin and death we deserve. Clarify that while we can choose to reject this love, it doesn’t change the truth that God loves us, always.
FAITH
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.”
– Ephesians 2:8-9
Ask the person if they believe they might go to heaven, and why. You may hear responses like, “I’m a good person” or “I don’t know.” Then invite them to turn to the blue tab and read the verse. Explain that salvation is a free gift that only requires faith. Emphasize that it’s not about our actions, but simply about receiving this gift.
LIFE
“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” – Romans 10:9-10
Read the final verse at the green tab, explaining that declaring “Jesus is Lord” and believing in their heart brings salvation from sin and death. Ask if they’d like to give their life to Christ and trust the Holy Spirit to work. If they say yes, pray with them—this is when their new life begins!

They might be ready to give their life to Christ, or they might still have questions. Either way, invite them to come to church to learn more!
